USS Hornet Carrier 1/700 Tamiya

Assembly Required Skill Level 2. Ages 12 and up. From the great Tamiya waterline series. The Hornet was first put to use on the 18th of April in 1942. In fact, the first U.S. air raid of Tokyo was launched from the deck of the Hornet. The Japanese were suprised to see planes attacking Tokyo that don't have the range necessary to reach it. Hurried through production, the Hornet is almost an exact copy of the Yorktown and the Enterprise, two previously built ships.
