The Digital Variable Load Voltmeter from Hangar 9 precisely simulates typical in-flight or on track loads on a receiver battery and displays real time voltage so modelers can be sure they have plenty of power to fly or driver. Modelers can simulate three different loads: .5A, 1A or 2A. All voltage information is clearly displayed on the unit’s digital LCD screen. It will measure voltage from as low as 3.5V to as high as 10V and is compatible with all popular 4- and 5-cell receiver packs. This unit is perfect for doing a quick spot check on Lithium Poly receiver packs used for both cars and planes to make sure the pack has enough voltage of if it should be recharged. Lithium Poly receiver packs should be recharged before they reach 6.0V. If you are testing with a regulator, make sure you connect the volt meter onto the battery pack directly and not through the regulator to get an accurate voltage reading.
