Boeing E-3A, Sentry Aircraft - Revell 03794 The Boeing E-3 AEW&C Sentry / AWACS is one of many military adaptations of the legendary Boeing 707 jetliner. Introduced in 1977, the E-3 has been regularly upgraded throughout its service life. Its current complement of radars, sensors, and computers can simultaneously track hundreds of airborne targets and provide real-time command and control for combat situations. The E-3 is scheduled to remain in front-line service until 2027. The Boeing E-7 will replace it. This 1/144 scale kit from Revell builds into an authentic replica of the early production E-3A.
