The ’79 J-10 pickup evolved from Jeep’s rough-and-tough Gladiator pickups of the early Sixties, but by time this mean machine was truckin’ on down the highway, Jeep engineers had added a gutsy 360-cubic-inch V-8 engine and Quadra-Trac four-wheel drive.
