The Macchi MC72 is an Italian, experimental metal two-float seaplane with a low wing structure, flown in 1931. The engine was a 24-cylinder Fiat AS.6 engine with a turbocharger with a power of up to 2850KM. The prototype was built for the Schneider competition in 1931. but due to technical faults he could not take part in the competition.
